Asus lancia un videotelefono Skype con touchscreeen

Il telefono si collega ad Internet e Skype via WiFi o ethernet. Si chiama AiGuru SV1 e costa circa 250 euro (non poco, per lo stesso prezzo si compra un Asus EeePC con webcam e Skype preinstallato). Sarà presto in vendita online sullo Skype shop.

I videotelefoni non sono una novità, questo però è la prima integrazione hardware con il software Skype a consentire la videochiamata. E’ indubbiamente un gadget interessante, non tanto per chi usa abitualmente Skype, quanto per chi non usa nemmeno un PC (si, potreste regalarlo a vostra madre per Natale).

The touch-screen box has everything you need to get connected: ethernet, 802.11 b/g, speaker and mic (plus a jack socket for a headset), a battery and a USB port. But when we look at the performance, we have to wonder why.
