21talks riporta la notizia e conferma che The Venice Project, il progetto di TV via Internet di Zennstrom e Friis, già fondatori di Skype e Kazaa, uscirà dalla beta e sarà annunciato durante Il Future of Television Forum a NY il 16-17 novembre. Tra le indiscrezioni rilasciate da InformiTV, che coprirà l’evento, quella che vede The Venice Project come una società a responsabilità limitata con sede a Baaima NV, Netherlands Antilles.

InformiTV, which will cover the event, dished a very interesting information. That the Venice Project, besides it might look a lot less polemical than Kazaa has been so far, “is currently incorporated as ‘Baaima NV,’ a Netherlands Antilles limited company with a post office box at Curacao in the Caribbean, it has been suggested for legal reasons.”

Why Friis and Zennstrom will do that? To pay less taxes on their upcoming fortune? Or do they anticipate some retaliations from the Warner and friends?
